Following nearly 20 years in the power generation industry, where he held significant roles in business and culture transformation and multi-billion-pound partnering projects, Ed set up his consultancy in 2001. In the intervening years he had worked on some of the most significant and challenging projects in the UK, including the Thameslink Programme, Kings Cross Station Redevelopment, Power Supply Upgrade, Crossrail, Hinkley Point C and the Sellafield Box Encapsulation Plant.
Ed is regarded as an industry leader in the successful development and deployment of collaborative approaches inside organisations and in client-contractor relationships. In this, he has developed a number of models, tools and techniques to facilitate relationship building as well as a number of assessment tools for measuring the collaborative culture and the health of relationships.
In addition, Ed has a deep understanding of organisational development and has undertaken significant consultancy remits in: behavioural selection of people and suppliers; process mapping, improvement and redesign; leadership development; and culture change and world class improvement methodologies. He is an expert in a wide range of disciplines and utilises many standard and bespoke tools and techniques to help his clients change their culture and develop high performing teams and delivery outcomes.
Ed has personally designed and delivered over two hundred team building events, together with a similar number of bespoke workshops and team coaching interventions. He adopts a unique style of challenge mixed with coaching, rapport and strong interpersonal relationships, and through countless 1-1 coaching sessions, has helped thousands of people achieve higher levels of engagement and performance.
